I always have a volume of Thoreau’s journals or other books on top of my reading stack. Here are three of my favorite sentiments from that saunterer of Concord, handset in metal type and letterpress printed on the 1909 Golding Pearl foot-treadled press. The gorgeous textured paper is handmade at the St Armand mill near Montreal, Canada.
