On a winter’s day, I love the bright cheer of red berries and birds. This handsome Pine Grosbeak perched amid clusters of snow-laden fruit was hand-carved by Lana Lambert. I then letterpress printed the carving on Revere Book mould-made paper, and hand-tinted the bird and berries with watercolor. Originally created to illustrate a text by Henry David Thoreau, these extra editions are now available as single prints, ready to brighten any home or office.
